Birch Cottage

Birch Cottage is a three-bedroom modern holiday home close to Falmouth in west Cornwall, sleeping two. The property sits within walking distance of two local beaches and is designed as accessible accommodation. Dogs are welcome, and parking is on-site.

Inside, the three bedrooms are served by one bathroom, with a modern open kitchen and living area running through the main space. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are provided.

Outside, a south-facing terrace looks out over rural views, giving space for eating out and catching the afternoon sun. The cottage has its own garden.

Birch Cottage is placed within walking distance of two local beaches on the Fal estuary side of the Falmouth peninsula. Swanpool and Maenporth beaches are both within a short drive - Swanpool is sheltered with a freshwater lagoon behind, and Maenporth is a broader sandy cove with a beach cafe and kayak hire. Gyllyngvase Beach, the main town beach at Falmouth, has the Gylly Beach Cafe and sits a short distance away.

Falmouth town centre is close at hand, with the National Maritime Museum Cornwall on the waterfront, Pendennis Castle guarding the mouth of the Carrick Roads, and independent shops and pubs along the high street. Ferries run to Flushing, St Mawes, and (in summer) Trelissick, giving access across the estuary. The South West Coast Path runs through the town and along the coves south towards the Helford.
