Cob Cottage

Cob Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in the centre of St Agnes, a former tin-mining village on Cornwall's north coast. The refurbished property sleeps 4 and accepts dogs.

The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room with French doors opening onto an enclosed garden for outdoor meals. A utility room with dishwasher and washing machine sits off the kitchen. The sitting room has a wood burning stove. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and the twin room has two single beds. The family bathroom between the bedrooms includes a bath with underfloor heating.

Despite its village-centre position, the cottage has allocated parking for one car and an enclosed garden with a patio, furniture, and barbecue. The garden is private and fully fenced.

St Agnes has a strong cluster of independent shops, galleries, cafes, and pubs along its narrow valley. Trevaunance Cove - a mixed sand-and-shingle beach with year-round dog access, surf, and RNLI lifeguards in summer - is 1.3 km downhill. Trevellas Cove, a quieter shingle cove suited to snorkelling, is 1.7 km north. The Wheal Coates engine house on the cliffs south of the village is one of the most photographed buildings in Cornwall, and St Agnes Beacon above the village gives 360-degree views across the county. The South West Coast Path connects all three.
