A mid-terrace cottage on Quay Road in St Agnes, 700m from Trevaunance Cove - a north-facing surf cove where the ruins of the old harbour pier are visible at low tide. Two bedrooms sleep 4, with one bathroom. A granite inglenook fireplace on the ground floor holds a wood burner, and the enclosed front garden has table and chairs.

The cottage includes an open fire in addition to the wood burner, giving two heat sources for off-season stays. Parking for one car off road is included, and dogs are welcome throughout. Trevellas Cove, a narrower beach reached by a wooded path along the valley, is 0.7 miles. Perranporth - 3 miles of Atlantic sand backed by dunes - is 3.1 miles south by road.

St Agnes village centre, half a mile uphill from the cottage, has a butcher, a bakery, and the Taphouse pub alongside several independent shops. The Driftwood Spars inn at the cove has a microbrewery on site and serves food year-round. The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs above the cove, connecting north toward St Ives and south toward the Roseland.

Best for couples or a small family wanting a no-fuss base in a working village with reliable surf and a wood burner for cool evenings. The single bathroom and compact garden suit a party of two adults and two children more than four adults. Not great for guests expecting level access - Quay Road drops steeply to the cove and the cottage has steps at the entrance.
