3 The Old Cornstore is a stone cottage laid out over three floors in St Agnes, with a blue front door and a courtyard dining room. The pub is 0.1 miles away, the shop 0.3 miles and the beach 0.7 miles; the nearest beach is Trevaunance Cove. Perranporth is 5 miles off and Truro 9.5 miles.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a double on the first floor and a twin on the second, whose low beamed ceiling is worth knowing about before you book. There is a bathroom with a bath and heated towel rail, tucked into the eaves of the second floor, and a separate shower room with a walk-in tiled shower and underfloor heating. Both count towards two bathrooms in all.

The living spaces are the kitchen, the dining room and a sitting room with a Smart TV, a Roberts radio, books and games. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a washing machine. Underfloor and central heating are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A highchair, stairgate and travel cot can be supplied on request.

Parking is on the road on a first-come, first-served basis, and a village car park nearby charges for use. Pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted. Between the three floors and the low ceiling, the cottage is less good for anyone who finds stairs difficult; it suits a couple or two couples who want the pub and beach within a short walk.
