Croft Prince Barn

Croft Prince Barn is a three-bedroom converted stone barn for five in the parish of St Agnes, near Mount Hawke village. An inverted-accommodation layout (bedrooms below, living above) and a gated grassy garden set it apart from the cottages further along the coast road.

Sleeping is across a king-size master, a twin with 3ft singles, and a further single room. The layout sits on one side of a gravelled courtyard shared with the owner's home. Equipment includes wifi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and accessibility features. Dogs are welcome, which matters on this stretch of coast.

Outside, the barn has a private sheltered garden and its own parking, reached via an unmade track through rural countryside. Porthtowan beach is 1.5 miles by road or around half an hour on foot. St Agnes and Chapel Porth both sit about three miles away. Mount Hawke itself is half a mile up the road and has a post office and a handful of small shops.

St Agnes is a former tin-mining parish on the North Cornwall coast, known now for the engine-house ruins on the cliffs, the surf beach at Chapel Porth and the climb up St Agnes Beacon. Truro is 15 minutes by car for cathedral and wider amenities, with easy A30 access west to Penzance or east to the Eden Project. Prices start from GBP 539 per week, rising to GBP 1,180 in peak season.
