Maris Cottage

Maris Cottage is a three-bedroom property in the village of St Agnes, 1.5 km uphill from Trevaunance Cove on Cornwall's north coast. It sleeps five across a king bedroom, a twin and a single, with a modern shower room serving all three.

The ground floor is an open-plan living area with white-painted wooden flooring and large bay windows. A wood-burning stove anchors the sitting area, and the kitchen has a breakfast bar seating four plus a dining table for six. The feel is light and contemporary rather than traditional cottage.

An enclosed patio garden at the rear has an outdoor dining area with barbecue and furniture. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing wetsuits, hanging hooks for drying gear, and a separate outbuilding with a wash basin and WC. Off-road parking is provided.

Trevaunance Cove - a lifeguarded mixed sand and rock beach with surf, cafes and old harbour wall remains - is a 20-minute walk downhill. Trevellas Cove, a quieter shingle bay used for snorkelling and shore fishing, sits 1.8 km north. St Agnes village has independent shops, galleries, The Taphouse pub and a creative community that feels distinct from the more tourist-focused coastal towns. The South West Coast Path connects Chapel Porth and Porthtowan to the south.
