Cuckoo Tor

Cuckoo Tor is a two-bedroom semi-detached cottage for four in a wooded valley 200 metres above Pont Pill, a tidal creek of the River Fowey. Direct walking access to the National Trust's Hall Walk and a paddleboard or kayak launch licence set it apart from the town cottages in Fowey itself.

Inside, the layout covers a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, one bathroom, and an open-plan living and dining area with an open fire. Equipment includes a dishwasher, a washing machine, and wifi. One dog is accepted, which is a relevant detail for anyone planning to use the adjoining coast path.

Outside, the cottage has its own garden and off-road parking on a quiet lane lined with trees. The South West Coast Path and the Hall Walk start close to the door, and Lantic Bay and Lantivet Bay sit around 10 minutes away by car. Bodinnick village, with the Old Ferry Inn and car ferry to Fowey, is under two miles away.

Fowey itself is a working harbour town with shops, restaurants and the Readymoney Cove rock-carved paddling pool. The Eden Project is around 30 minutes' drive inland. Prices start from GBP 537 per week, rising to GBP 1,142 in peak season, with Saturday changeovers.
