The town is awash with fabulous art galleries and studios – perfect for picking up a little memento from your trip. You’ll also be just 200 metres from the fascinating Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, which is well worth a visit during your stay. From the harbour, you can take boat trips along the coast to admire the wild and rugged scenery or visit Seal Island to marvel at the large colony of grey seals. There are some beautiful walks that branch away from St Ives, following the South West Coast Path. A 1-mile stroll along the cliffs will bring you to Carbis Bay, where you’ll find a secluded, sandy beach that’s perfect for a spot of swimming on a hot summer’s day.

Two flights of stairs lead from the shared hallway to this second-floor apartment. The property has an open-plan layout with a lounge/kitchen/diner and has a homely vibe, with a nautical theme running throughout. There are also glimpses of the sea from the windows, reminding you of your fantastic seaside location. After a busy day of exploring, return to your Cornish bolthole to share a romantic dinner for two at the dining table or snuggle on the sofa to watch TV.
