Hub, at The Wharf (Wharf Road) in St Ives, is the original Hub Box, the burger restaurant that grew into a UK chain. It overlooks the harbour and is dog-friendly, so you can bring your dog and watch the boats come in. The menu is mainly burgers and fries, made in house from aged Cornish rare-breed beef, with plant-based burgers for vegetarians and a choice of sides and loaded fries. Local listings date the restaurant to 2003, and the burgers have won awards.
It opens every day. Hours are 8:30am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 8:30am to 10pm on Sunday, with coffee and breakfast until 11am and the main menu from 11:30am. You can book a table, but during peak holiday periods it does not take reservations, so turn up and wait in the bar if there is a queue. Craft beer and cocktails are on the bar menu.
