This is a picturesque little port town on Cornwall’s south coast with colourful houses lining steep hillsides overlooking the sea. It’s a great place for a seaside holiday with its interesting town centre and bustling harbour. Fowey offers lots of opportunities for watersports. Kayaking, fishing, boat hire, river cruises or rock pooling at the small cove at the end of the esplanade. Fowey is a commercial port for china clay ships and often welcomes cruise liners which is a sight not to be missed. Sail boat races are also a seasonal common spectacle in the harbour. Fans of Daphne du Maurier shouldn’t miss a visit to the Literary Centre that celebrates her life, work and strong connection to the town. Nearby there are wonderful coastal trails to follow offering stunning views. The quaint little village of Polperro is 7.5 miles along the coast and well worth a visit. Also, don’t miss a day out at the wonderful Eden Project, just 7 miles away.

The apartment is set over two floors on the first and second storeys. Enter via a flight of stairs from the entrance hall, and once inside, the living areas are on the first floor. Relax in the snug lounge and a modern kitchen/diner with a charming dining table placed next to the window. The two homely bedrooms are on the second floor and both offer pretty views across the neighbouring rooftops to Fowey’s busy waterway. The bedrooms are a king-size and a twin room and both share the use of the family bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

While there is no outside space with this holiday let,a free parking pass in a nearby numbered space is provided for your vehicle. The whole of Fowey is on your doorstep so you can enjoy coastal strolls ,pubs and restaurants or cafe jaunts during your break.
