Meadowside

Meadowside is a two-bedroom single-storey cottage on a 100-acre working farm near Hayle, with views across to St Ives Bay from the rear of the property. It sleeps four in a double and twin bedroom, welcomes one dog of any size and shares the farm with two other renovated cottages, Cowslip and Skylark.

Inside, the cottage has an accessible single-level layout, a dishwasher, washing machine and wifi throughout. The rear-facing living space and garden look out across farmland towards the coast. The layout suits families or guests with limited mobility.

Outside, the cottage has its own garden with coastal views, along with private parking in the old farmyard. Undercover storage is available for bicycles and beach gear, and stabling and grazing can be arranged for horses. Gwithian Beach, a long stretch of sand backed by dunes, lies 2 miles away. The coast path climbs from here to Hell's Mouth viewpoint half a mile away, with Godrevy Point and its lighthouse 2 miles along the cliffs.

Hayle is around 3 miles inland, with a supermarket and shops, while the villages of Gwithian and Portreath, both 2 miles away, have pubs serving food. St Ives is roughly a 20-minute drive for its harbour, Tate Gallery and beaches. Tehidy Country Park, with its network of woodland footpaths and bridleways, sits close by.
