Nuthatch Cottage

Nuthatch Cottage is a one-bedroom semi-detached woodland retreat sleeping two, set within a self-catering complex in Cardinham Woods on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor. The cottage is designed for couples, with a king-size bed, private parking, and a private wood-fired hot tub included in the rental.

Inside, the restored interior combines rustic character with modern comforts across a single bedroom and bathroom. The living space features an open fire for cooler evenings, wifi, and a washing machine, and arrivals include a Cornish welcome hamper plus a starter pack for the wood burner. Two dogs are welcome.

Outside, the cottage has its own garden and EV charging, with woodland walking and cycling trails leaving directly from the door. Guests also have exclusive use of the on-site woodland spa, which includes a larger hot tub and sauna. Woods Cafe nearby serves homemade treats and cream teas.

The location is well placed for wider exploration. Lanhydrock House and Estate is around five minutes away, Bodmin Moor and Jamaica Inn are within easy reach, and Golitha Falls offers a riverside walk. The north coast at Newquay is roughly 30 minutes by car, with the harbour town of Looe around 20 minutes to the south.
