Cornwall Open Studios runs from Saturday 29 May to Sunday 6 June 2027. For nine days, participating artists and craftspeople invite visitors into studios and homes across the county to see where work is made, speak to its creators and view pieces available for sale.
The organiser says the event has run for more than 20 years. Its online directory spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, printmaking and other disciplines, with individual profiles showing work, directions and practical visitor details.
Visitor information
Dates: Saturday 29 May to Sunday 6 June 2027.
Venue: Independent studios across Cornwall. This is a countywide event rather than a fair at one venue, so plan a route around the studios you want to visit.
Admission: Free. The organiser states that studios and homes open without an entry charge, and there is no obligation to buy work.
Opening pattern: The published 2027 framework uses 11am to 5pm. Some studios open for all nine days, while others open for the two long weekends. Studio-specific opening days are due to appear from early 2027 and must be checked before travel.
Access and directions: Each maker’s profile carries its own finding and accessibility information. A countywide date range does not mean every studio is open daily, and private workspaces can differ in parking, steps and facilities.
Use the official search and interactive map to group visits by area or discipline. Contact a studio directly if its profile asks visitors to arrange an appointment.
