Set on Market Street and within metres of Fore Street and the water’s edge, here you’ll have the best of the south coast at your fingertips. Positioned above the shops leading down to the quay, this holiday home is light-filled and airy with crisp, modern décor. The entrance hallway on the ground floor leads upstairs to a light-filled open-plan living area where you’ll find space to unwind, cook and share meals together. The home’s four bedrooms are arranged over the top two floors. On the second floor above the living area, there are two double bedrooms (one of which has an en-suite shower room), and a modern family bathroom, while on the top floor is another double bedroom and a single room with bunk beds – the perfect set-up for families with younger children in tow. With its unbeatable location and easy access to Fowey’s brilliant cafés, galleries, and restaurants, the property is a dream. Right opposite the front door is the aquarium, and less than a minute’s stroll away is the waters edge where you can catch a ferry over to Polruan or simply enjoy the scenes of boats gliding across the estuary. If you fancy a meal out, grab a really good lunch or dinner at The King of Prussia which is just two doors down. Nearby you’ll discover many wonderful beaches including Readymoney Cove which is a flat stroll along the Esplanade, Polkerris Beach which is a 10-minute drive, and Par Sands which is under 15 minutes’ drive. For those who enjoy walking, the coast path offers scenic routes above Lantic Bay or to St Catherine’s Castle which is just above Readymoney Cove. Fore Street is a stone’s throw from the apartment where you’ll find clothing shops and independent boutiques, while the town’s many excellent restaurants like Pintxo Fowey and The Old Quay House are under 5 minutes’ walk. This apartment is above a shop on Market Street. Check in time: 4.00pm Check out time: 10.00am Good Housekeeping Bond or Accidental Damage Waiver: We ask our guests for a £200 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this. Alternatively, a one-off, non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking. Pets: 1 pet allowed. £40 per pet, per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas. Number of steps: 2 steps to front door, 3 flights of internal stairs. Type of heating: Gas central heating. Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay. Wi-Fi: This property provides free Wi-Fi for our guests. There may be occasional variations in speed and performance due to factors outside of our control. If you’re planning to work during your stay, we suggest bringing a Wi-Fi dongle as a backup Coffee maker: Cafetiere. Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
