Lantic View is a period duplex apartment set above the River Fowey in Fowey, one of south Cornwall's most atmospheric harbour towns. Four bedrooms sleep eight across 3 bathrooms - two king-size rooms and two twin rooms - with far-reaching views across the estuary visible from the main living spaces.

The interior retains its period character while offering modern equipment including dishwasher, washing machine, and a fully fitted kitchen. Outside, an enclosed rear terrace has a gas BBQ and ample seating for meals in summer. Dogs are welcome.

Readymoney Cove, a sheltered sandy beach backed by cliffs, is 200 metres from the front door. Lantic Bay - a larger, more open beach accessible via a coastal path - is 2.5km away. Lansallos Beach, a National Trust cove with no road access, is 4.6km. The foot ferry from Fowey Quay crosses to Polruan throughout the day.

Fowey town centre is within easy walking distance, with independent restaurants, galleries and a working harbour. The Camel Trail at Bodmin is around 25 minutes by car. The Saints' Way long-distance footpath passes through the area.

Suits groups or two families wanting to share a quality base with direct beach access and estuary views. Not great for large groups expecting hotel-style facilities - this is a self-catering property with character. Rated 5 from 17 reviews.
