Fowey is a working harbour town on the south coast, home to the annual Du Maurier Literary Festival and a concentration of independent restaurants. Sam’s on Fore Street, Pintxo, and The Old Quay House are all under 5 minutes on foot. The Hall Walk circular - 4 miles using both ferries - starts from the quay.

Best for larger families or groups happy with stairs, since the bedrooms are spread across three floors with 3 flights of internal stairs up to the top-floor bunk room. Less good for guests with mobility needs or more than one dog, as there are 2 steps at the front door and the property accepts only 1 dog.
