Outside, a south-facing front deck has a stone BBQ and space for outdoor dining. A private rear deck houses the hot tub. The position on the esplanade means Fowey harbour with restaurants, galleries, and kayak hire is a flat walk. The passenger ferry to Polruan runs from the harbour.

Readymoney Cove is 0.8km. Lantic Bay - a more remote and less accessible beach - is 2.2km via the South West Coast Path. Lansallos is 4.1km further along the path.

This property is ideal for families or groups who want to be in walking distance of a town with restaurants and boat trips. It suits those with children aged over 10, given the bunk arrangement, and anyone who prefers a coastal town setting to a rural one. It is not great for guests travelling without a car and hoping to reach the wider county - Fowey is a pleasant base but road connections inland are narrow and parking in the town centre is limited. Two dogs welcome.
