Barley Moo

Barley Moo is a two-bedroom converted stone-and-slate barn for four adults at Pollingarrow Farm near St Kew, carved from a 400-year-old corn mill. Surviving parts of the original mill wheel and the inverted layout (bedrooms below, living above) set it apart from the other conversions on the farm.

Sleeping is across two bedrooms, with two bathrooms for a maximum of four adults; the barn is not booked for children. Equipment covers a dishwasher, a washing machine, and accessibility features. The 400-year-old structure has been fully double glazed during conversion, making it workable year-round.

Outside, the barn is reached by a narrow unmade lane and gated gravel driveway with space for three cars, and sits in a large country garden with full seclusion. Views run across open Cornish countryside. A 9-hole golf course with driving range and farm shop sits one mile away.

St Kew village and its 15th-century parish church are just over half a mile from the barn, with the St Kew Inn for good food. Port Isaac is four miles away, Wadebridge three miles for leisure centre, cinema and Camel Trail bike hire. The beaches at Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock, plus the foot ferry across to Padstow, are all within a short drive. Prices start from GBP 523 per week, rising to GBP 1,234 in peak season, with Friday changeovers.
