Camping Pods Trevella Holiday Park

Trevella Holiday Park sits on the edge of Crantock village, about 2.7 km from the National Trust-managed beach and its broad stretch of dune-backed sand. The glamping pods here offer a step up from tent camping - each ground-floor unit has parquet floors, a private bathroom, a dining table and a seating area. Dogs are welcome, and the park provides Wi-Fi throughout.

On-site facilities include a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor play area, a games room and a minimarket for essentials. EV charging points and free parking are available. A wood burner in each pod takes the edge off cooler evenings - useful outside peak summer months.

Crantock is separated from Newquay by the Gannel Estuary, reachable by foot ferry at low tide or a short drive. The village has a 13th-century church, the Old Albion pub and a quieter pace than its neighbour. The Gannel itself is a designated SSSI, popular with kayakers and paddleboarders on the tidal creek.

The park works well as a family base. Newquay Zoo, the aquarium and the Fistral Beach surf scene are all within about 3 miles. The West Pentire headland, managed by the National Trust, provides coastal walks with views over the beach and estuary. The Eden Project is roughly 32 km east.
