Clovelly Cottage

Clovelly Cottage is a four-bedroom detached house on the outskirts of Crantock village, roughly a ten-minute walk from the wide sandy beach and the River Gannel Estuary. The house sleeps eight plus an infant, with private parking for three cars and a welcome for two dogs.

Inside, the house is double-glazed and generously sized across two bathrooms and four bedrooms, with room for two or three families travelling together. A dishwasher and washing machine handle the practical side, WiFi runs throughout, and the ground floor connects directly to a private garden.

The gated driveway opens onto the lane down to the village square. Crantock village centre - church, small shops, tea gardens and two food pubs - is a five-minute walk, with the dune-backed beach another five minutes further on. The South West Coast Path picks up from the beach for cliff walks to Porth Joke and Holywell Bay.

Newquay lies 3 miles by road with its rail and coach stations, Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. Perranporth and the National Trust's Trerice Manor are around 15 minutes by car.

Best for larger family groups or two families travelling together who need parking and coast-path access within walking distance. Less good for guests wanting a town-centre base - Crantock is a quiet village with limited evening options.
