Chi Gwynn

Chi Gwynn is a detached four-bedroom cottage in the village of Crantock, 2 miles southwest of Newquay. It sleeps up to 8 guests and comes with a hot tub, making it one of the better-equipped properties in the area. Dogs are welcome, and there is a 3-night minimum stay.

The open-plan ground floor combines kitchen, dining, and sitting areas, with a wine fridge and instant hot water tap alongside standard appliances. A separate sitting room and snug provide additional space for larger groups. Upstairs, two super-king bedrooms - one with a Juliet balcony and en-suite walk-in shower - and two twin rooms (convertible to super-kings on request) give flexible sleeping arrangements. Electric underfloor heating runs throughout, and two Smart TVs, WiFi, and a games collection keep guests entertained on rainy days.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden has lawn, patio seating, and the hot tub. Off-road parking is available. Crantock Beach - a broad, dune-backed stretch of sand managed by the National Trust with seasonal lifeguard cover - is 1.2km away. Fistral Beach, the UK's most recognised surf break, is 1.7km north.

The village itself has a 13th-century church, a shop within 0.2 miles, and the Old Albion pub 0.3 miles from the door. Newquay's restaurants, zoo, and aquarium are a short drive across the Gannel Estuary.
