Clovelly Cottage

Clovelly Cottage is a four-bedroom detached house on the outskirts of Crantock village, sitting roughly a ten-minute walk from the wide sandy beach and the River Gannel Estuary. The property accommodates up to eight guests plus an infant, with private parking for three cars and a welcome for two dogs.

Inside, the house is double-glazed and generously sized, with two bathrooms split across the layout and enough space for two or three families travelling together. A dishwasher and washing machine cover the practical side, and Wi-Fi runs throughout. The ground floor connects to a private garden.

Outside, the gated driveway opens onto the lane that leads down to the village square and beach car park. Crantock village centre - with its church, small shops, tea gardens and two food pubs - is a five-minute walk, and the dune-backed beach is another five minutes further on. The South West Coast Path picks up from the beach for walks to Porth Joke and Holywell Bay.

Newquay lies three miles by road with its rail and coach station, Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. Perranporth and the National Trust's Trerice Manor are both around a fifteen-minute drive, and Truro sits within half an hour by car for cathedral city shopping and the Royal Cornwall Museum.
