Glencoe Cottage

Glencoe Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage in one of the old streets close to Polperro harbour, backing onto the River Pol. It sleeps five and works well as a year-round base for couples, small families or two couples travelling together. Dogs are welcome.

Inside, the cottage has a natural stone fireplace with wood burning stove (logs available locally), slate floor tiles with underfloor heating and a relaxed interior in soft neutrals. Two bathrooms serve the three bedrooms, with a washing machine and wifi provided throughout. The ground-floor layout is accessible.

Outside, a conservatory at the back opens out to look over the River Pol. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. From the door, the harbour, coast path and the network of narrow streets in the village are all within walking distance, and parking is arranged nearby rather than at the cottage itself.

Polperro's pubs, inns, fish restaurants and small independent shops are scattered through the village, all within a few minutes on foot. The coast path climbs out of Polperro towards Talland Bay to the east and Lansallos to the west. Looe, with its larger selection of shops and its mainline rail station, is a short drive along the coast road.
