Hillcrest Cottage Polperro

Hillcrest Cottage is a three-bedroom stay for five in central Polperro, the south-coast fishing village where cars are banned from the inner harbour area. Two double rooms and one single cover the stated capacity, though all five guests share a single bathroom, worth factoring in for a full group.

A feature fireplace sits in the lounge, though it is not a working fire. WiFi, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and the private enclosed garden gives space for outdoor dining. Up to two dogs can stay. Anyone driving can use Crumplehorn car park at the top of the village and walk down, roughly half a mile to the harbour.

The cottage sits within walking distance of the coast path, with Looe around 2 miles away and Fowey about 7 miles. Lekerock Cove Beach is under a mile at 0.9 miles, Talland Bay is 1.1 miles and Lansallos Beach 2.5 miles.

**Best for:** a family or group of friends wanting a central Polperro base, an enclosed garden and space for two dogs, and who are happy walking from a car park rather than parking on site.

**Less good for:** five guests wanting more than one bathroom, drivers wanting to park at the door, or anyone needing step-free access.
