Set back from the harbour in a granite fisherman’s cottages street, this cottage is ideally placed for walking into town to access the local facilities. Porthleven includes a bustling harbourside, an excellent choice of restaurants, pubs and shops, a sandy beach and fabulous, scenic, coastal walks. Head out along Loe Bar Road and marvel at the spectacular views from the South West Coast Path or enjoy a cool drink watching the many activities around the harbour.

This stunning cottage was beautifully renovated in late 2022 and has many character features including exposed granite stone, painted beams and thick, feature walls. Entering at the ground floor level leads you into a comfortable living room with exposed floorboards and a wood burner for cosy nights in. The wooden, turning staircase takes you down to the kitchen/dining room and here you will also find a very stylish shower room. The upper-turning staircase takes you to the two bedrooms. The main bedroom with its vaulted ceiling and feature panelling provides a king-size bed and has a spacious and characterful feel to it. The second bedroom with a single bed is also stylishly finished and perfect for an adult or a child.

From the lower ground floor kitchen, there’s a door leading to a small, enclosed courtyard with a useful welly stand – an ideal area for washing off muddy wellies and dogs – and here you will also find the utility building housing the washer/dryer.
