This former fisherman’s cottage in Porthleven is packed with traditional features and home comforts. Located half a mile from the pretty harbour, you’ll have access to local seafood restaurants to try South Cornwall’s wares. The beach is so close (0.1 miles away), you can see it from your garden.

Get cosy in your home-from-home’s sitting room where the plump armchairs and two-seater sofa sit beside the wood burner effect electric fire. Grab a book or turn on the Smart TV and relax under the classic overhead beams. The open-plan dining room has a pine table and four chairs while the ground-floor, galley-style kitchen contains Bosch appliances, trendy tiling and sea views. Head upstairs to the two double bedrooms, one of which is a small double - both have window seats where you can sit and take in the sea views. The shower room is also on the first floor.

Across the road from the house, you’ll find your private garden featuring a table, chairs and sun umbrella. Indulge in some al fresco dining any time of day with beautiful panoramic views across to Mounts Bay, The Lizard and Mousehole.
