Fabulous and well-equipped St Ives holiday home with an abundance of pretty features This true family-friendly property has multiple levels and space for up.

Complete with exposed brickwork, stained glass windows and feature fireplaces, this traditional and quirky seaside cottage offers a slice of eclectic charm in busy St Ives. Built around 1840, the property is a truly handsome piece of Cornish history and is just a short stroll the beach and the town. The entire family can soak up some culture when staying in this wonderful coastal town. Whether you enjoy the critically acclaimed galleries of Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum (both less than 0.5 miles), or prefer to mosey around independently owned galleries, there’s an abundance of art to discover. Immerse yourself in the landscape that inspired numerous artists with a trip on The St Ives Bay Line, a short railway journey displaying some of the coast’s most magnificent scenery. Or follow the South West Coast Path out of town and along the jaw-dropping clifftops of the Penwith Heritage Coast (0.5 miles).

In recent years the house has been tastefully modernised. Traditionalism meets contemporary chic and feature fireplaces sit beside antique-style furniture in the most sympathetic style. Step inside to find yourself in the open-plan lounge/diner with plenty of seating, original tiled flooring and a wood burner. You’ll always feel at home curled up right here. From here you can head into the kitchen with farmhouse-style counters, a range-style electric oven and traditional stone-flagged flooring. Perch at the breakfast bar first thing in the morning to enjoy your first coffee of the day. From the lounge you can head upstairs onto the first floor. Here you’ll find two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, along with a bathroom. This floor also boasts a children’s den with games and a TV, perfect for letting younger guests play. An additional flight of stairs leads up to the top of the house where there is a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom, and a shower room.

The property has a private courtyard for the storage of beach equipment and outdoor gear. There is no allocated parking available, so guests are advised to find space in one of the town’s car parks. In terms of unpacking and loading, please note that there is a narrow road leading to the property, with limited room to open car doors and larger vehicles may struggle to manoeuvre.
