A furnished cottage in Harlyn Bay sleeping six across three bedrooms, 7 Harlyn Cottages is 150 metres from the sand with ramp access to the beach. The property sits on Cornwall's north coast, 2 miles west of Padstow.

The ground floor has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a low-rise three-seater sofa. One super king-size double and a bunk room with adult-size mattresses are on the upper floor. A shower room with large walk-in shower serves the bedrooms, and a ground-floor WC is available for day use. Calor gas central heating, a washing machine, and a TV are included.

An enclosed terraced garden at the rear has a patio with rattan furniture and a warm outdoor shower - useful after beach days. Off-road parking is provided for one car. Harlyn Bay Beach is 500 metres away, a sandy family beach with year-round dog access and a surf school. Mother Ivey's Bay, a quieter stretch with views of Trevose Head Lighthouse, is 1 mile north.

Harlyn Bay stays sheltered when other north coast beaches turn rough, making it one of the more reliable swimming spots in the Padstow area. The nearest pubs are The Pig Hotel and three options in St Merryn. One well-behaved pet is welcome, or two small dogs by arrangement.

Best for accessible beach days - the ramp leads straight to Harlyn Bay sand, and a well-behaved pet or two small dogs are welcome by arrangement. Less good for groups arriving in more than one car - off-road parking is provided for a single car.
