Blowing House Cottage

Blowing House Cottage stands in a rural pocket between St Agnes and Perranporth, 2.4 miles from the town of Perranporth, and the approach runs through large lawned gardens. The owners live in the property adjoining. The kitchen has a range cooker and leads into a living and dining room with a stone wall behind a woodburning stove. A conservatory with sofas opens off that room onto the garden.

There are three bedrooms: a super-king-size, a double and a twin. The super-king-size and the double each have a TV, and the house sleeps six. The one bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath, basin and WC. Fuel, power, a starter pack for the stove, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Two well-behaved dogs are allowed. The front garden is enclosed with a lawn, and the rear garden has a lawn, furniture and a barbecue. Off-road parking takes two cars. The shop is 2.4 miles away and the pub 1.5 miles, so most trips need a car. Smoking is not allowed.

The spread of bedrooms suits a family with children or two couples, and the single bathroom makes it less good for a full house of six adults. The cottage is close to Perranzabuloe, and from Perranporth, Newquay is 9 miles and Truro 9.5 miles.
