Carrick

Carrick is a one-bedroom countryside cottage in Trenewan for two guests. It has one king size bedroom and one bathroom. The compact layout is paired with an unusually wide set of shared leisure facilities on the grounds.

A hot tub, communal sauna, indoor swimming pool, games area, wood burner, open fire, WiFi, parking, garden and barbecue are all recorded, and up to two dogs can stay. The leisure facilities are communal rather than private, so guests share the pool, sauna and hot tub with other properties on site.

Lansallos Beach is 1.2 miles away, Lantic Bay is 2.2 miles from the cottage and Readymoney Cove 3.4 miles. Lansallos Cove itself is reached by a steep track originally cut through rock to carry fish, seaweed and, tradition says, smuggled goods - the cart ruts are still visible in the stone. Polperro is about two miles east along the coast path, and Polruan with the Fowey ferry lies around six miles west. Trenewan itself is a remote hamlet with no pub, shop or reliable mobile signal in places, suited to walkers who want the coast without the crowds.

**Best for:** Two guests wanting a king size bed, hot tub, pool, sauna, games area, parking and room for two dogs.

**Less good for:** Guests needing private leisure facilities or verified step-free access.
