The scenic coastal road between Newquay and Padstow passes close to Trenarlett Farm, where this barn conversion is one of five sharing the site. The South West Coast Path is a short drive away, with Newquay's sandy beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants to the west. Newquay Zoo (4 miles), Pirates Quest crazy golf (4.5 miles) and the Eden Project (16 miles) are all within reach, along with several National Trust properties.

This barn conversion pairs a contemporary interior with original features - exposed brickwork, stone-flagged flooring and beams. The layout is upside-down: the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner sit upstairs beneath skylights and high ceilings, with underfloor heating warming the ground floor below. The lounge has a corner sofa, cuddle chair, wood burner and Smart TV, while the kitchen and dining table are set up for family meals. Downstairs, three bedrooms include a king-size master with en-suite shower room, a second bedroom with a super-king bed that splits into twins on request, and a twin room reached via three steps or a ramped alternative entrance. A family bathroom with a shower over bath completes the ground floor.

Outside, guests have an enclosed garden and multi-level patio spaces with outdoor seating and a BBQ, ideal for evenings together or al fresco dining.
