Colmans Cottage

Colmans Cottage is a one-bedroom cottage for two in Bolingey, a village on the edge of Perranporth. It stands beside the owner's home, and the enclosed garden and patio are shared with them, with seating, a pond and views across open countryside. Dogs are not accepted.

The layout is split level. Three steps lead down from the entrance to a half landing, then six more reach the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, where the table looks onto the garden. The shower room and WC open off the landing, and the double bedroom is up a flight of stairs. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave and fridge-freezer, and the lounge has Sky TV and a DVD player. Parking is on site and Wi-Fi is included.

Perranporth Beach is 0.9 miles away, a 15 to 20 minute walk by footpath from the door. Trevellas Cove is 2.5 miles off, and Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 2.8 miles. Bolingey has its own inn serving food, and the cottage sits well for cycling the Saints Trail. Newquay and the Eden Project are both within driving range. Best for a couple after a quiet village base with a beach walk from the door and a garden to sit out in. Less good for dog owners and those who cannot manage steps, since there are steps at the entrance and stairs to the bedroom.
