Hayle Estuary View

Hayle Estuary View is a one-bedroom apartment in Phillack for two guests, with a king-size bedroom and an en-suite shower room, all on one level. It looks out over the Hayle Estuary, an RSPB reserve known for waders, egrets and overwintering migrants, rather than a sea view.

The lounge has a wood-burner-effect electric fire and a Smart TV. Parking, a washing machine, an enclosed garden and a barbecue are included, and the dining area looks out onto the garden. Dogs are not allowed, and the apartment is not suitable for children or babies. A local train station and bus routes serve guests travelling without a car.

The village sits on the edge of Hayle, separated from the sea by the Towans sand dunes, with Hayle town centre and its shops under half a mile south. Porthkidney Beach is 1.1 miles away, part of the Hayle Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest. Gwithian Towans is 2.2 miles and Carbis Bay 2.4 miles. The South West Coast Path runs along the estuary and out to the beaches, and the Phillack guide covers the village and the churchyard at its centre.

**Best for:** a couple wanting an estuary outlook, an electric fire and easy access to public transport. **Less good for:** dog owners, or anyone travelling with children or babies.
