Riverside Cottage is a two-bedroom property in Angarrack, a small village close to Hayle on the west Cornwall coast. Sleeping four across a super-king and an adaptable twin room (which can be made up as a second super-king on request), both bedrooms have en-suite facilities - an arrangement that suits two couples sharing as well as families. Both bedrooms are upstairs, with a shower room on the ground floor, and 1 dog is welcome.

The open-plan living area has a wood burner for autumn and winter stays, with French doors opening to the enclosed garden. A BBQ and patio make the garden usable from spring through to October. The property comes with a washing machine and dishwasher, and WiFi is included. Parking is available on site.

The three nearest beaches give a good range - Gwithian Towans is 2.2 miles, a broad sand and dune beach running south from Godrevy Point with the National Trust lighthouse visible from the shore. Porthkidney Beach is 2.4 miles and Godrevy Beach 3 miles, both reached along the coastal path. The Hayle estuary and three miles of tidal beach lie 2.5 miles away. The Red River Valley walking trail passes through Angarrack itself, connecting the village to the estuary.

Ideal for two couples or a family wanting en-suite bedrooms, a wood burner and proximity to Gwithian and Godrevy without paying St Ives prices. Good for walkers and cyclists given the beach trail access. Less good for guests who need more than one dog or cannot manage stairs - Angarrack is inland and both bedrooms are on the first floor. The viaduct and traditional stone buildings give the village its own character, distinct from the coastal villages nearby.
