The small courtyard garden to the back of the cottage means those with pups in tow have a secure space for all members of the family to soak up the sunshine or stretch their legs. One of Cornwall's most popular beauty spots, the pretty port of St Ives provides views over an aquamarine bay, along with four main sandy beaches including Porthmeor, Porthmister, Porthgwidden and Harbour Beach. Carbis Bay lies a scenic walk away, and within easy driving distance too are Porthkidney Sands, Hayle, Upton Towans and Gwithian. Of course, St Ives is well-known for its long-standing and vibrant art scene, with galleries like The Tate showcasing some of the best of Cornish creativity. The town also has a terrific selection of foodie spots, so if you fancy eating out you'll have award-winning beachside cafes, seafood restaurants and bistros to choose from.
