A former fisherman's cottage on Island Road in St Ives, converted into a 2-bedroom apartment sleeping 4. It sits 100 metres from Porthgwidden Beach and within walking distance of the harbour, Tate St Ives, and the town's galleries. Dogs are not accepted.

The kitchen-diner has a 4-seater dining table and everything needed for self-catering, including a washing machine. Four steps lead up to the lounge, which has a TV. The 2 bedrooms - one double and one with bunk beds - share a bathroom. The layout is compact but functional across its traditional footprint.

There is no private outdoor space, but Porthgwidden Beach is 100 metres away - a small, sheltered cove with calm water, a cafe, and beach hut hire. Porthmeor Beach, the town's main surf break directly below Tate St Ives, is 300 metres. St Ives Harbour Beach is 400 metres. Off-road parking is included.

St Ives has four beaches in total and an artists' colony that dates to the 1880s. The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, Leach Pottery, and numerous independent galleries are all within the town. Boat trips run from the harbour for seal and dolphin watching, and the South West Coast Path connects to Carbis Bay along the clifftops.

Best for a family of four who don't mind a few steps, since the lounge sits four steps up from the kitchen-diner with no lift. Less good for anyone bringing a dog or wanting a garden, as dogs are not accepted and there is no private outdoor space.
