19 Street An Garrow is a two-storey former fisherman’s cottage in the dense grid of lanes at the heart of St Ives, 200 metres from the harbour beach and 300 metres from Porthminster, the sheltered south-facing sand below the railway station. Two double bedrooms sleep 4 across the upper floors, with the open-plan kitchen and living area on the ground floor. The dining area has a wall-mounted Smart TV and the lounge has two sofas. The kitchen has an electric oven with ceramic hob and a fridge/freezer. The first-floor double bedroom has plenty of storage space, and the second double sits under the eaves on the upper floor.

The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden - one of the largest single-artist museums in the UK - is a 3-minute walk from the door. St Ives Harbour, with its fishing boats, crab shacks and independent galleries, is immediately outside. There is no outdoor space at this property.

The compact layout across narrow stairs suits two couples or a small family, but groups expecting large living spaces should note this is a traditional Cornish townhouse, not a barn conversion.

WiFi and dog-friendly throughout. Best for couples or pairs of couples who want to walk to everything. Not great for anyone relying on a car - parking in central St Ives costs extra and space is very limited.
