Seveock

Seveock is a detached house on a four-acre farmstead in Chacewater, on the rural outskirts of Truro, which is 5.2 miles away. It sleeps ten in five bedrooms, two with en-suite showers and a third with an en-suite basin and WC, and a family bathroom adds a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. There is also an external cloakroom with a basin and WC.

The sitting room has a sofa bed and a woodburning stove, and the kitchen/diner leads to a utility room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and wine chiller. Central heating is supplemented by underfloor heating, and a Smart TV, DVD player, piano and WiFi are included, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available.

The garden has a lawn, furniture, swings, a trampoline, a substantial climbing frame, a shower and a barbecue. Footpaths and bridleways lead from the property to the Saints Trail towards St Agnes and Perranporth. Redruth is 4.8 miles away, Portreath 6.8 miles and Falmouth 11 miles, with the north coast five miles off and the south coast within ten. Buses stop at the top of the driveway, and the shop and pub are 1.2 and 1.1 miles away.

Saturday changeovers are not possible, and the booking is cancelled if the housekeeping team cannot finish the turnaround. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house suits two families or a group of friends sharing, and is less good for anyone who wants to bring a dog.
