Shellseekers

Shellseekers is a two-bedroom bungalow set high above the fishing village of Port Isaac, with views from the living room and viewing platform across the rooftops towards the harbour. The layout sleeps four in a double and a triple bunk, making it a sensible option for a small family or two couples with up to two dogs.

Inside, two bath or shower rooms, an open fire and a well-kept kitchen give the cottage a comfortable feel for longer stays. The washing machine, dishwasher and garden access add the practical touches that matter on a week-long holiday, and the layout has been designed with accessibility in mind.

Outside, private parking fits up to two cars and a garden sits to one side of the property. Port Isaac harbour, where local boats still land the day's catch, is a few minutes' walk downhill. The coast path runs in either direction from the village. Polzeath, with its broad family-friendly sands, sits 6 miles away, while the dog-friendly beach at Daymer Bay is around 8 miles.

Wadebridge, 10 miles inland, covers shopping and a two-screen cinema. Tintagel and Boscastle are under half an hour by car, and Bude sits roughly 25 miles up the Atlantic coast.
