April Cottage

April Cottage is a three-storey former fisherman's cottage on Church Hill in Port Isaac, the north Cornwall fishing village used as the filming location for ITV's Doc Martin. The property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four.

The double bedroom on the first floor has views over the village. A twin bedroom with en-suite shower room occupies the second floor. A main bathroom serves the rest of the property. The sitting room on the first floor has a TV and a door to a balcony overlooking the harbour and its working fishing boats. A well-equipped kitchen and dining area sit at ground level. Wi-Fi and a washing machine are included.

An enclosed garden provides outdoor space. Roadside parking is available. The village's narrow lanes hold independent shops, galleries, and restaurants - including Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant. The Fisherman's Friends sing sea shanties on the Platt during summer months. Squeezy Belly Alley, one of the narrowest thoroughfares in England, is a short walk away.

Port Gaverne Beach is 600 metres east - a sheltered cove with calm water, rock pools, and year-round dog access. Tregardock Beach, a more remote stretch reached by a cliff path, lies 3.5 miles along the coast. Polzeath Beach, with its half-mile of sand and surf schools, is 4 miles southwest.
