Bre Cottage

Bre Cottage is a two-bedroom dog-friendly cottage on Rose Hill in Port Isaac, the north Cornwall fishing village known as the filming location for ITV's Doc Martin. The property sits within easy reach of the village's 14th-century harbour, with a shop and pub both less than 200 metres from the front door.

Inside, the cottage has two bedrooms - a double and a twin - each with its own en-suite bathroom including bath, shower, basin and WC. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, and the kitchen is equipped with a range oven, microwave, under-counter fridge and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, the cottage has a courtyard garden with patio furniture and allocated parking a short distance away. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Port Gaverne Beach, a sheltered cove with calm water for swimming and kayaking, is 0.6 km away on foot. Tregardock Beach, a remote sandy stretch with surf and rock pools, lies 5.5 km along the coast.

Port Isaac's harbour area has several seafood restaurants, including Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant. The coast path runs in both directions from the village - east to Port Gaverne and west to Port Quin, a largely abandoned hamlet about 3 km along the cliff.
