This cosy cottage retains much of its original character and has been restored to a high standard throughout.

Situated in a pedestrian lane just off the wharf, this lovely property is the perfect escape for a couple or small family looking for a traditional seaside break. The sights and sounds of St Ives are right on your doorstep with charming narrow streets crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, excellent seafood restaurants and welcoming local pubs. Famed for its local artists, St Ives has been attracting creatives for decades thanks to its inspiring surroundings and exceptional natural light that comes from being surrounded by the ocean. The town’s Tate Gallery is one of only four to be found worldwide and plays host to exhibitions by both local and international artists. For family fun by the sea, the town offers four beaches and acres of sand to enjoy. The beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy (9 miles) are a surfer’s paradise with some of the best waves in the area. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar, including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September. Further afield, the impressive St Michael’s Mount (9 miles) is not to be missed, and the rugged coastline of Land’s End (18 miles), Britain’s most westerly point, makes for a spectacular day out, especially in winter when the Atlantic Ocean batters the cliffs with waves.

This cosy cottage retains much of its original character and has been restored to a high standard throughout. Climbing the 7 steps from the pedestrianised street below, you enter the open-plan lounge/diner with comfortable seating, stone feature walls and an inglenook fireplace home to an electric coal-effect fire. To the rear of the property, a well-equipped, cottage-style kitchen comes with everything you need to feed hungry mouths after a day on the beach. The open-tread stairs lead to the first floor, where you will find; an attractive double bedroom with exposed wooden beams and stone wall features, cosy twin room with sea glimpses, and a family bathroom, again sporting a feature stone wall.

There is no outside space at this property.
