Splatt Farm Shepherds Rest

Splatt Farm Shepherds Rest is a converted courtyard barn on a 140-acre working cattle and sheep farm, sleeping ten across four bedrooms: two king-size rooms, a twin and a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds. Two bathrooms serve the group, an arrangement that suits families with children more comfortably than five adult couples.

A hot tub and wood burner are included, and the garden has space for a barbecue. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are also provided, and up to two dogs can stay. Host Anna manages the booking.

Treneglos is a civil parish in north-east Cornwall, roughly midway between Launceston and Camelford, with little more than a green beside the parish church of St Gregory. Launceston itself is about seven miles away for shops and a supermarket run. Crackington Haven Beach is 7.2 miles away, Millook Beach is 7.6 miles from the barn and Widemouth Bay 8.6 miles - all a drive rather than a walk from the farm.
