Teak Cottage

Teak Cottage is a three-bedroom family holiday home in the fishing village of Polperro, with harbour and sea views from a large balcony off the master bedroom and from the sun room. The property sleeps six across two bathrooms, welcomes dogs, and has private parking - a useful asset in Polperro where village parking is tight.

Inside, the larger-than-average footprint gives space for a family of six or a group of friends. The sun room draws on the same harbour aspect as the balcony, and the layout suits evenings indoors with sea views through most rooms. A fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine cover the practical side, with Wi-Fi throughout.

Outside, a terraced garden with furniture runs off the cottage for outdoor meals, and the master balcony provides a second viewing point out across the harbour. The position above the village keeps the cottage out of the busy flow while keeping the harbour within easy walking distance.

Polperro harbour sits below the cottage for daily boat trips, fishing and the Blue Peter Inn. Village pubs, restaurants, independent shops and a bakery all sit along the narrow lanes, with the Crumplehorn Inn at the upper end of the village. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftop for walks to Talland Bay in one direction and towards Looe in the other.
