The Norway Inn

The Norway Inn is a 19th-century coaching inn in Perranwell, on the A39 between Truro and Falmouth at the head of Restronguet Creek.

Four luxury en-suite bedrooms sit above a bar and restaurant serving home-cooked dishes made from local produce, including fish, game, lamb, and duck, alongside a full English breakfast each morning. The inn takes its name from the Norwegian boatmen who once imported pine for Cornwall's mine shafts. Free WiFi runs throughout the building, and there is a large car park for guests driving in from either town. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 20:00 and check-out is by 11:00, with free parking on site for guests. Perranwell railway station is about a mile away.

Falmouth is around 4 miles from the inn and Truro 5 miles, both reachable along the A39. Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth is 4.8 miles away, with Castle Beach and Swanpool Beach a similar distance. Justin and Mark took over the tenancy in September 2018, with general manager Neil Russell running the day-to-day operation.

Best for a couple or business traveller wanting a quiet, well-placed stop between Truro and Falmouth with a proper kitchen behind the bar. Less good for dog owners, since dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or the B&B bedrooms themselves.
