Tramanda is a four-bedroom detached cottage in the hamlet of Waterloo, half a mile from Blisland on the edge of Bodmin Moor, sleeping eight. The layout covers four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with two living areas. Two 6ft zip-and-link beds convert between king-size and twin configurations, supplemented by a standard double and a bunk-bed room. The refurbishment has kept original fabric while adding double glazing, central heating, and a wood burner. A dishwasher, washing machine, and accessibility features are all included. Outside, there is a garden, an outdoor shower, and private parking. Dogs are welcome.

Blisland village is half a mile away, with a parish church, a village shop with post office, and the CAMRA-award-winning Blisland Inn on the village green. Open moorland starts immediately east - walking routes head up to Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest point at 1,378 feet. Bodmin town is 15 minutes by car for supermarkets and the mainline railway. Lanhydrock House is around 20 minutes, and the Eden Project is under 30 minutes. Wadebridge, 10 miles west, is the start of the Camel Trail.

Best for groups of eight who want Bodmin Moor access, a cottage with genuine history, and walking routes from the door. Less good for those who want to be near the coast - north Cornwall beaches are around 12 miles away.
