Sitting high above Trebarwith Strand Beach, this welcoming home is the ideal retreat for families or groups of friends who appreciate the opportunity to take in beautiful views at every turn. Pack up a picnic, check the tides, and take a stroll down to the long stretch of golden sand at Trebarwith Beach (1.5 miles) – it’s a great place to explore rock pools and caves. Alternatively, head to Polzeath Beach (12 miles), which is a big hit with surfers due to its slow breaking, consistent waves. If you’re looking for something a little less busy, check out the neighbouring New Polzeath Beach – it’s peaceful and catches the last of the day’s sun. Or head to Tintagel Castle (2.5 miles) to explore the medieval ruins and uncover tales of King Arthur. Walk among the 13th-century castle ruins that still cling to the cliffs, take in the unforgettable views of the coastline and treat yourself to a cream tea in the beach cafe.

Step inside and you’ll find a spacious home from home where the light and bright interior is bathed in a soft palette of coastal hues. Take a moment to relax a in front of the wood burner in the lounge. A stylish king-size bedroom with wonderful sea and valley views, as well as a handy cloakroom with WC, round off the ground-floor layout. On the lower ground floor there’s an attractive country-style kitchen/diner that leads through to a conservatory with lovely views. Also on this floor you’ll find two stylish bedrooms – a twin and a single – as well as a chic family bathroom.

Outside you’ll discover a gorgeous, terraced garden, with a pretty patio area, raised sundeck and pond. This magical spot is south-facing, so grab your sunglasses, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco with your loved ones on the patio. Make the most of the spectacular sunsets over the rugged coastline. You’ll also find a games’ room with table tennis, sofa and tumble dryer.

(NB If more living space is required then an extra part of the house can also be booked, providing another twin bedroom with en suite shower room, and galley kitchen. The larger version of the house is good for bigger families, or grandparents, or two groups holidaying together. The combined area, sleeping up to 7, is known as Trevalley House - ref TREV.)
