The village itself has pubs, the National Trust Old Post Office, and a handful of cafes within walking distance.

Best for families or dog owners who want a village base with easy access to both the castle and the coast. Less good for anyone expecting sea views - the bungalow is set back inland on Molesworth Street, and the garden is not large. Port Gaverne and Port Isaac are each around nine miles by road.
