Crantock Beach is 600 metres on foot along the village lane - a broad, sheltered bay popular with families and considerably less crowded than Newquay's town beaches across the Gannel estuary. Vugga Cove is 0.7 miles, and Porth Joke (also called Polly Joke), an unspoiled cove set in a National Trust valley, is 0.9 miles away and reliably quieter. For Newquay itself, the town centre and its surf beaches are a short drive or a walk across the Gannel at low tide. EV charging is included on site, along with private parking and a dishwasher. No washing machine. Dogs are welcome.
