Bootlace Barn

Bootlace Barn is a converted barn for two near Kilkhampton. Its one bedroom has a king-size bed and one bathroom serves the stay. The farm setting includes walks across the surrounding fields, while an enclosed gravelled courtyard provides space for outdoor dining.

Duckpool Beach is 4.5 miles away, Sandymouth Beach is 4.7 miles away and Northcott Mouth is 5.3 miles away. Bude, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Hartland and Clovelly are named as wider driving trips.

Parking, a wood burner, BBQ and dishwasher are included, and up to two dogs can stay. A couple travelling with up to two dogs have the farm fields on the doorstep for daily walks. Kilkhampton is the nearest village, and the beaches and Bude all need a car, so plan on driving for the coast. Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer are provided. Parking is included, which matters here because the beaches are a drive away.

All of the accommodation is on one level, but guests who need step-free access should ask the owner about the entrance, thresholds and doorways before booking.

**Best for:** A couple wanting a king-size bed, field walks, private patio, wood burner and space for two dogs.

**Less good for:** Guests who need step-free access, or wanting a beach within walking distance.
